摘要：
Minimizing the operation cost of the thermal stations which produce most of the energy in the world is significant. Besides the thermal plants are expected to work between minimum and maximum active power values. In this study economic dispatch analysis of 6 thermal plant in Turkey in 380 kV, 14 bus have been conducted by using genetic algorithm (GA). In the analysis the production constraints of generators were considered with line loses and without line loses and the optimum operation conditions of generators were determined providing the minimum total cost of the system.
