From the hybrid-vehicle to the fuel cell-electric vehicle

摘要
Electrical powered vehicles are well known for more than 100 years. In their early days they were valued for their unproblematic and easy operation and low noise emissions whereas nowadays they raise the potential for break energy storage and optimization of the combustion engine part load operation efficiency. By introducing hybrid-concepts the main components as high power electric motors, control electronics, electrical storage systems and support systems are developed towards a high level, which finally enables pure electrical concepts as the fuel cell electric vehicle. The influence of the electrification process does not necessarily affect only the vehicle's drivetrain.
