摘要
By means of **1H magnetic resonance the time domain line shapes of water adsorbed on a microcrystalline titania (rutile) at three different coverages were measured as function of temperature (77 to 350 K) and resonance frequency (21 to 90 MHz). Evidence is obtained that dissociation of chemisorbed water even on the (110) surface planes amounts to not more than about 33%. Except at the lowest coverage measured the spectra indicate rapid proton exchange processes to occur which average out the static dipolar interaction energy.
