CITIZENSHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION AND FRACTURE

This article presents an analysis of the opportunities for citizen participation in general, and social organizations in particular, in the design, im-plementation, follow-up and evaluation of the public policies of welfare services at the local level and its potential influence in the agenda and management of these policies in the current contexts of social exclusion and division. The results of this research will allow methodizing supply mechanisms, participatory processes, and identify the dimension of findings that would contribute to provision of greater efficiency in public social policy, by means of, intensified citizens' participation and the real impact of social organizations.
