摘要
The present article proposes to discuss how the poetic work of Adelia Prado was received by literary criticism throughout his trajectory as poet. It is intended to put in debate the low presence of contributions of written criticism by women, especially in the first years of publication of the author's books, as well as this has evolved over the years, not only by the presence of more female representatives in the academic and journalistic context, but also by the growth of studies on women's writing in Brazil. Aspects related to the object of this study will be evidenced from the considerations of several expressions of the Brazilian literary criticism, such as Italo Moriconi, Lucia Castelo Branco, Regina Zilberman, Nelly Novaes Coelho and others.
