Climate change and politics of adaptation of Anthony Giddens: in search of a preventive model in fighting for effects of climate change in the semi-arid region of northeastern Brazil

Climate change is one of the most issues of Environmental Law, as well as other areas such as Social Sciences. The sociologist Anthony Giddens, in a recent book, deals with the insertion of this issue on the Political agenda, which argued that the need for countries to adopt a Politcs of adaptation and Proactive adaptation to prevent the effects of Global warming. At the national level will be the Brazilian Northeast the hardest hit by change climate. Study Cedeplar/UFMG/Fiocruz will increase unmeasured migration. Must be implemented a Public Politics of adaptation, through measures prevention to minimize the effects of Global warming.
