摘要
This article deals with a study of pulsed arcs in argon and copper at pressures of 100-950 atm. The discharge current is 2-50 kA and the arc length 2-6 cm. The electrical conductivity of dense argon and copper plasmas is determined for temperatures of 1. 3-4. 5 multiplied by (times) 10**4 eV and pressures of 100-950 atm. These results are compared with some theoretical and experimental work on the conductivity of nonideal plasmas.
