摘要：
Interdisciplinary treatment approaches are required to align impacted maxillary canines into the dental arch. Adequate surgical uncovering techniques and orthodontic mechanics are needed to obtain a good functional and aesthetically appealing result. Complications and failures during treatment consequently ask for a change of the treatment plan or alternative methods of treatment.
