Partners for Excellence: How the University of Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Assisted the Ann Arbor Public Schools in Their Health and Wellness Curriculum

This article discusses the establishment of a relationship between the Health Sciences Libraries of the University of Michigan and the Ann Arbor Public Schools' Partners for Excellence program. This relationship reflects an innovative approach by the Health and Wellness teachers of the high schools to utilize and integrate up-to-date resources from the Internet to enhance knowledge and develop critical thinking on the part of the students. This article describes the methods used and the material that the librarians of the Health Sciences Libraries contributed to the Health and Wellness Curriculum.
