SCIENTIFIC METHODOLOGY FOR TEACHING STUDENTS OF TECHNICAL COURSES: A CASE STUDY IN THE FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF THE AMAPA

摘要
The aim of the present work, check the profile of the students who entered the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amapa (IFAP), Campus Laranjal do Jari and are studying the discipline of scientific research methodology. The survey was conducted between May and June 2011 using a questionnaire subjective and objective. In total 151 respondents were students of technical courses integrated IFAP (IT, environment and secretariat). Was approached topics like reading, local completion of elementary education, reading comprehension, math, science knowledge, importance of scientific research methodology for training and technical subjects taught in the first two months. There are several factors that provided a negative impact for some students of the methodology of scientific research, the example of a school with limitations, lack of incentives for reading, lack of practical activities and use of outdated teaching methodologies. To bring the student to the scientific environment, has been indispensable to insert textual work (writing and reading), group dynamics, correlation of the methodology of scientific research in the specific area, presentation skills seminars, seeking, with all these tools, contribute to the formation of a technical skills with basic research.
