摘要
Indoor air pollution cost French society nearly (sic)20 billion in 2004, according to this first estimation of six pollutants(star). PM2.5 accounted for three quarters of the cost, and radon also carried significant weight. The article provides details of the data used and the various calculation stages for each pollutant. The authors explain the limitations of their work and compare their results to those of existing evaluations in other European countries. Despite the different approaches, the figures were a similar order of magnitude.
