摘要
This paper introduces three layers of quality management system integration in a CIM environment, i.e., function integration, quality data integration and quality equipment integration. After discussing the common futures of the NBS model, the CAM-I model, and the GRAI model, a function hierarchical structure of a computer integrated quality management system (CIQMS) in a CIM environment is given, i.e., the total quality planning and design level, the shop quality planning and control level, the inspection station control level, and the inspection equipment control level. Functions in various levels are defined, and the structures of functions in each level are described by the IDEF0 model technique. Finally, an example describing the CAC CIQMS is presented and further research topics are suggested.
