摘要：
After 2011 and 2013 there was again an outbreak of Yersinia pestis in Madagascar in 2014. Until November 2014, the WHO reported 40 cases of deaths and at least 119 infections since August 2014. Even in the capital some cases have been reported. Due to the high population density, the increasing resistance of the fleas and the insufficient health system there is a risk of further rapid spreading. This review summarizes information from the WHO and the RKI about the pathogen.
