摘要
The aim of our study is to review and analyze aquatic fitness programs that have had an effect on physical fitness: endurance, strength and range of motion of postmenopausal women. To do this, we performed a systematic review of qualitative studies about the effects of an aquatic fitness program on the physical condition of postmenopausal women. As relevant results, we emphasize that a program of aquatic fitness is a significant decrease in BMI and in particular, the percentage of fat mass, improved some components of physical fitness and aerobic capacity, maximal strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and isometric force undercarriage, an improvement in some physiological components such as reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and in general, an improvement of menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, nervousness, insomnia or depression status, and finally, an improvement in the socio-affective and interpersonal aspects. Of all the studies reviewed include that finding improvements and effects on the physical condition of this group the program must not exceed 12 months, with a frequency of 2-3 days a week and last between 50-70 minutes session.
