摘要
The teacher's education for special education is considered a modern educational challenge, given the diversity and depth of that area. Therefore, this work, of bibliographic nature, aims at presenting reflections on the special education teacher education in Brazil from the 1970s. During the studied period, more attention is given to the assumed tendencies in the formation, implications and origins of educational norms guiding institutions' activities, which are responsible for that formation. By this research, a situation is brought to light where no government guidance is implemented tosupport the formats ofnational institutions of education courses. There also seems to be a divergence when facing the challenge of inclusive education on the tendencies for dealing with courses' formations.
