摘要
The authors compare the single-slag process for melting corrosion resistant steel with the traditional double-slag process. Technology is described. The metal is not quite so well desulphurized with the single-slag process, but this can be compensated by making the slag slightly more basic. Assimilation of titanium is as good as with the double-slag process. The alloying elements are more effectively assimilated, heat times are shorter, and less labour is required.
