摘要：

It is now essential to master information and communication technologies (ICT) skills to successfully undertake university studies. As there is a growing awareness in this regard, the certification of the skills required in the digital age becomes an issue for universities. Following a pilot project conducted by Laval University (Quebec) and by Bordeaux University (France), we examine in this paper the conditions for setting up a distance learning course in response to this concern.
