摘要
A new system has ben developed for an easy and rapid measurement of the CO2 response curves of net photosynthetic rate (P(N)-CO2 Curves) in an open gas exchange circuit. Continuous and precisely determined changes of the CO2 concentration in the air entering the assimilation chamber are provided by a mixing chamber. Such a new configuration of the gasometric system combines advantages both of conventional open and closed systems as well as avoids failings of them. In some cases the results cannot be obtained using simple open system formulae because of non-steady state measurement, hence computer data acquisition and processing are recommended.
