PREDICTION OF GAS-CHROMATOGRAPHY SOLUTE ACTIVITY-COEFFICIENTS IN MIXED STATIONARY PHASES BASED ON THE WILSON EQUATION

摘要
Gas chromatography based activity and partition coefficients are reported for nine solutes, including aliphatic, allcycllc, chlorinated aliphatic, and aromatic solutes, in two mixed stationary phases, (a) N,N-dlbutyl-2-ethylhexanamlde NV,N-dlbutyl-2,2-dlmethylbutanamlde and (b) N,N-dlbutyl-2-ethylhexanamlde + dodecanol, In the mole fraction region from 0 to 1, for five temperatures spanning from 298.15 to 338.15 K. The Infinite dilution activity coefficients of solutes in mixed solvents can be accurately described by a simple, thermodynamically founded, four-parameter equation, derived from the expression originally reported by G.
