FLUORESCENCE AND ABSORPTION-SPECTROSCOPY OF POLY-N-EPOXYPROPYLCARBAZOLE

摘要
Singlet and triplet excition energy position in poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole (PEPC) has been found. Excimer fluorescence of PEPC layers is determined, its intensity growing with photooxidation. Exciton localization is shown to take place within the energy range of 3.5-2.7 eV, self-trapping of excitions - at 2.5-2.3 eV, strong localization of exciton - 2.1-1.8 eV; self-trapping of charges at 1.8-1.3 eV; the occupation of deep traps by charges - at 1.0-0.47 eV. Two-photon absorption and and fluorescence processes with real existing first and second excited states is revealed in PEPC for the first time. This result is confirmed for polyvinylcarbazole and anthracene.
