Upcycling drugs for brain-related diseases: a sustainable future for targeted drug delivery

With increasing drug-development costs, drug-development time, the patent cliff and soaring healthcare costs, the pharmaceutical industry needs developments for a more sustainable future. to-BBB is contributing to this sustainable development by 'upcycling' drugs that are already on the market.
