摘要
The objective of the paper is to present the meeting between theology and literature in the work of the Greek writer Nikos Kazantzakis (1883-1957). Thus, will follow some of the search of the writer by sacred and how the traces of such an effort are expressed in his literary art. For this, at first, it approaches a specific episode Kazantzakis's life, his forty-day pilgrimage to the important Orthodox monastic center of Mount Athos, whose experience was related and commented by himself in some of his texts, offering indications about some of its main theological insights. From there, it tries to reflect on aspects of Kazantzakis literature that bring evidences of what can be termed as a theology of struggle.
