摘要
This paper intends to reflect on the use of cartoons in Teaching History. We will discuss our experiences obtained with the use of this source in the classroom. Through activities in the Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Inicia(go a Docencia (PIBID-Humanidades / UFPel) we analyzed these animations, selecting the sources, making cuts, so we could look for elements that are able to meet the interests of the educator and the learner. Worked with cartoons which are still in circulation in the Brazilian public television, a fact that greatly facilitates the visualization and their contact with students. Will be made a dense bibliografic discussion on the subject -(CHARTIER, 2010), (ECO, 2011) (FERNANDES, 2003), (VALIM, 2006) and etc - in which we question the idea that the cartoon is something that only want to entertain children, without bringing any political-ideological in their approach. Think the animation as a construction of man in a particular historical context, allows us to discuss with our students that make up the different versions of history and relate them to their reality.
