摘要
A functioning ambulance service without participation by emergency doctors is inconceivable today. One essential for participation in the emergency doctor service is a special professional qualification which is determined by the substances of the professional ambulance service certification. The discussions on substance and intensity of the further education,. specially as a qualification for the emergency doctor service, ape shaped by the complaint about lack of knowledge and skills. This is confirmed in particular by the practical skills. In a total of 8.2 million calk-outs for the ambulance service in 1992/93, the incidents involving emergency doctors amounts to only 39% at present. Non-traumatological emergencies predominate. Due to the absence of routine in the frequency of the different incidents, constant contact with intensive medicine is unavoidable. it is only through uniformly regulated further education and the creation of interdisciplinary standards that the qualification required for the task can be attained.
