摘要
This paper describes the fabrication and characterisation of some Co/Pt multilayers. The multilayers were deposited in a conventional sputtering system. Their magnetic and structural properties have been measured. The multilayers show a well defined layered structure at the layer thicknesses at which optimum magnetic properties are obtained. The magnetic properties, including the domain structure, are consistent with a predominant perpendicular anisotropy in the multilayers and depend on the individual cobalt layer thickness and also on the number of periods in the multilayer. © 1990 IEEE
