With the new media configurations, mainly the Internet, the reader is no longer an exclusive information receptor but he begins to be a co-producer. From the product of consumption, information becomes then subject matter of other products, re-signified and reformulated by the reader. From this point of view, this paper has as an objective to analyze the discourses of news receptors about sexual exploitation against children and teenagers, materialized in the comments of the news website from Mato Grosso do Sul, Campo Grande News (www.campogrande.com). We attempt to understand what kind of reading the receptor performs and what discourses are present in the comments generated by these readings. The analyses reveal, among other things, that the readers who comment on the articles are readers-work, who participate while active subjects in the discourse building process.
