摘要：
An analytical solution is obtained for predicting the pollutant concentration distribution along longitudinal and lateral uniform flow through an isotropic saturated porous medium. The initial and boundary conditions of situations of practical interest in groundwater pollutions are considered. A numerical example is considered to demonstrate the concentration attenuation trend along both the directions of the medium.
