摘要
The article is devoted to the problem of manpower in the Russian Far East inthe 1900s early 1930s. The authors examine the total number of workers and employees at the concession enterprises, a percentage ratio of the Russian and foreign workers in the Far East fishery, coal and oil industries, their living and working conditions, salaries etc. The authors especially emphasized the role of Japanese fishery managers in the development of the Kamchatka fishery in pre- revolutionary Russia and in the USSR.
