AN INVESTIGATION OF THE ZERO-FIELD SPLITTING AND OPTICAL-SPECTRA IN AGX-NI2+ (X=CL,BR)

摘要：
The optical spectra of AgX:Ni2+ (X = Cl, Br) in the O-h system, and the ZFS parameter D in the axial system have been calculated by means of the mu K alpha model of the Ni2+-6X(-) (X = F, Cl, Br, I) cluster. The calculation shows that the band distance in AgX:Ni2+ has been reduced isotropically and the axial system should be dependent on the Ni2+-vacancy along the z-axis. The results agree well with experimental findings.
