摘要：
The authors describe an experimental rig for vacuum arc double electrode remelting using horizontally moving electrodes with an arc struck between them and with separation of the remelting and ingot solidification stages. The solidification mold is not water cooled but is rotated. The advantages of this process and its effects on ingot structure are described.
