Talking About the Meaning of Life

The question about life is a questioning by and from the meaning of what life is and what it carries. It is interesting to highlight the Socratic or philosophical question for "the meaning of life" in terms of existence and reality. Life carries with it the existence of meaning; nevertheless, direction, reflection, signification and, above all, the sensing of meaning is the human task that must be accomplished by whoever asks about the telos of life, its end or finality. The nature of the world is linguistic and therefore, symbolic; meaning is perhaps its principal semiotic praxis that helps to interpret human life.
