摘要
A Green function approach to the theory of spectral line broadening in a plasma is presented. The emitter is viewed as propagating in a fluctuating time-dependent microfield provided by both electrons and ions. The atomic part of the problem is solved exactly in terms of the microfield and the procedure for calculating the Green function is outlined. © 1990.
