摘要：
The fish was exposed to various sublethal concentrations of paper and pulp mill effluent for 15 days and different blood parameters such as Red Blood Corpuscle (RBC) and White Blood Corpuscle (WBC) counts, Haemoglobin (Hb) content, Packed Cell Volume (PVC), Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin Concentration (MCHC), Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV) and Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin (MCHb) were estimated. A decreasing tendency in RBC and WBC counts. Hb contents, PCV and MCHC was noticed in the fish treated with the paper and pulp mill effluent. The values for MCV and MCHb were found to be increasing in the experimental fish as the concentration of the effluent increased.
