摘要
Targionia hypophylla ssp. linealis is a new taxon from the Hejaz and Asir Mountains of Saudi Arabia. It is characterized by a very long and narrow, in cross section nearly semicircular, thick and xeromorphic thallus resembling Mannia androgyna. Mannia fragrans (Hepaticae), Fabronia pusilla, Pottia propagulifera, Tortula princeps ssp. princeps and T. revolvens var. revolvens (Musci) are further new records from the Arabian Peninsula (total number of species now: 1 Anthocerotae, 48 Hepaticae, 143 Musci). Reboulia hemisphaerica (Hepaticae), Gymnostomum calcareum, Gyroweisia reflexa and Pottia starckeana (Musci) are new to the bryophyte flora of Saudi Arabia (total number of species now: 27 Hepaticae, 105 Musci). As an adaptation to sandy habitats, the re-appearance after sand burial by monopodially renewed growth and acrotonous innovations is reported from Trichostomopsis aaronis.
