LIFETIME MEASUREMENTS IN KR-75 AND SYSTEMATIC STUDY OF KRYPTON ISOTOPES

摘要
Lifetimes of states in Kr75, excited in the Fe54(24Mg,2pn)75Kr reaction at 75 MeV, have been measured using the recoil-distance technique. The E2 transition strengths in Kr75 have been interpreted within the rigid-triaxial-rotorplusquasiparticle model. A consistent set of parameters, required for the application of this model, has been obtained from a systematic study of Kr isotopes. The prediction of the model describes the experimental data rather well and suggests a deformation of 0.4 for Kr75. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
