GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND SEGREGATED DEVELOPMENT IN TOURISM: A CONCEPTUAL AND REFLECTIVE DISCUSSION REGARDING THE PARNAIBA-PIAUI TOURISM

In this paper we discuss some concepts about public policy and influences the territoriality of the local population, in addition to its context in the tourism dynamic in the city of Parnaiba. Highlights the contributions of approaches to use and occupation from the perspective of socio-spatial problems of tourism public policy as a driving element and the political and tourist arena of tourism from distributive, redistributive, regulatory and constitutive characteristics, analyzing the implications tourism development in the indigenous community of territoriality and the dynamics of the sector within the municipality. The research methodology was sustained on the characteristics of the study, in other words, remained with the exploratory, drawing on data collection instruments such as bibliographic and documentary research to understand the subject in the context of the Parnaiba tourism. We conclude that public policy in tourism are incipient and indirectly reflect the dynamics of the activity on the territory of Parnaiba, as well as expose the sociocultural balance the fate of conflicts between operators, consumers and communities.
