USE OF DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF MECHANICAL ASSEMBLIES FOR OPTICAL-INSTRUMENTS

A method for the qualitative choice of structural parameters of mechanical assemblies of optical instruments is considered. An estimation of the degree of influence of the chosen parameters on the operation of the instrument is shown to be possible. The effectiveness of using dimensional analysis of the parameters in the design process is demonstrated for the example of an updating of a microscope substage.
