摘要：
The experimental drawing of SAE 1008 steel bars was performed for different reductions in area (r) and die semi-angles (alpha). The redundant deformation factor (phi) was evaluated for each case using two techniques: microhardness profiles and stress-strain curves superposition. The experimental values of phi obtained by the two techniques were not in agreement.
