摘要：
A smooth nonparametric estimator for the percentile residual life function is proposed using kernel density estimators. The estimators are provided for complete and censored data. The asymptotic properties of these estimators are examined. A Monte Carlo study is conducted to compare the new estimators with the empirical estimators.
