摘要：

Background. In the health system the most important is the family doctor's care. Objectives. The goal of the research was to assess the job satisfaction of family doctors. Material and methods. The surveys were conducted among a group of 400 family doctors. Results. The greatest work satisfaction was achieved by physicians with more medical specialties, working in small villages, taking care of whole families and concractual employed. Conclusions. Further studies on factors affecting the degree of professional satisfaction by the family doctors are needed.
