摘要：
The present study investigated the relationship between sex-role orientation and life satisfaction among 100 non-institutionalized volunteers between 55 and 92 years old Regression analysis indicated that subjects who scored high on both instrumentality and expressiveness were significantly more satisfied than low scorers. The role of expressiveness (femininity) in predicting life satisfaction is at variance with results of studies using younger subjects.
