摘要
A master's program that would meet current needs in clinical settings for nurses seeking positions in professional development influenced the establishment of a new program in nursing education. A traditional program development approach was used by a designated task force of faculty and clinical experts. The six steps in this process are described, the program objectives and content are presented, and challenges that the task force encountered are explored.
