In near future the converging markets of information technology, telecommunication and consumer electronics will offer extraordinary chances of growth to business and a new research area to the science of business-informatics. New infrastructures aiming at the private household provide the fundamental basis. Within distinctly identifying types of applications customized products and services will lead to a change of the private sphere.
