摘要：
Legally speaking, since XIX century, gambling has been strongly restricted in France. In such a context, interactive communications have produced a quick development of both licit and unauthorised online gambling offer, causing even cross- border effects. Following European Commission instructions to open its gambling market, France has just produced a new Act regarding online betting activity (Law 2010-146), which is hereby analysed paying special attention to comparative implications for Spain.
