Pedagogical Observatories: An educational path to the society of information and knowledge from the production of teaching resources

In the frame of national, educational, local and institutional policies, the School of Education from the University of Antioquia and the Research Line: Education and Virtuality from the Translation and Terminology Research Group-GITT-from the School of Languages are developing the University of Antioquia Stamp Project 2008: Multitaller para Produccion de Materiales Didacticos /Multiworkshop for the Didactical Material Production. This project is aimed to supply deficiencies in the Iberoamerican educational environment, which have been detected on the policies concerning the insertion and integration of ICT. Such educational policies have been focused on providing and relating to ICT, without taking into account methodological and pedagogical aspects which must go with such developments in the educational innovations in the Information and Knowledge Society. In this sense, Action Plans become necessary to give incentives, making possible and implementing actions on teaching staff training, contents and applications availability, support networks developing and focusing on investigation and development. The Multiworkshop as a Pedagogical Observatory promotes self generators training processes in flexible times and tutorial sessions where the future teachers and the current teachers perform conceptual frames about multimedial education, and the virtual and learning environments from the development and production of a pedagogical project gathering theory with practice and taking part of his/ her teaching activities and educational institutions.
