THE PROFESSIONALIZATION AND INSTITUTIONAL POLICY AS A STRATEGY FOR OVERCOMING PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS IN NORMAL SCHOOLS

摘要
This research was formally address the reason the institutional policies and which is inserted in the State Plan to Strengthen Education Normal (PEFEN) and its relevance is academic oriented and improvement of educational services management. The methodology used is mixed, through the application of interviews, questionnaires and focus groups. Among the main results is found that it is necessary to promote greater professionalism of teachers according to the new demands of a globalized world, the need for professional development of teachers are located in the update to the curriculum reforms and the approach based on competences. The most important conclusion reached is that teachers consider the professionalization as a corporate policy, but mostly as a strategy for professional development.
