摘要：

The article discusses how 'Quatro Rodas' Brazil Tourist Guide referrers to the Parana State Coastal Region. The proposal is to compare two documents about the region in 1999 and 2011 editions. The research methodology approach is a longitudinal qualitative. The choice of issues was determined by the intention to evaluate the most recent edition compared to the version published in an interval of more than a decade to detect changes in content and form for the region under investigation on the Guide. The results indicate a reduction in the volume of information for the region studied, even though tourism has grown in the same area.
