ANALYSIS OF GAS AND ROCK OUTBURST HAZARD IN COAL DEPOSIT WITHIN WALBRZYCH COAL BASIN USING GIS TOOLS

摘要：
ArcGIS software was used to analyse gas and rock outbursts which occurred in the former coal mines in Walbrzych including Walbrzych coal mine, Thorez coal mine and Victoria coal mine over 1909-1999 years. Spatial and descriptive database was built. The parameters defining gas and rock outbursts included in the database were statistically analysed as well as visualized using map compositions. The outline history of mining in Walbrzych was also depicted. Outburst phenomenon and geological conditions of Lower Silesian coal deposit were also presented.
