Environmental education paths in animation movies: stories told by children about the movie "Rio"

摘要
This study aimed to investigate, from the perspective of Cultural Studies, how the contact to animation movies produces meanings about the relationship human-nature in the student's narratives and how this meanings relate to Environmental Education's proposals. The movie "Rio" has been chosen for bringing views about the culture and the local landscape and also for raise issues, like species conservation. Workshops have aimed to observe children identification with environmental views, and cultural practice, shown by the film. The students pictured natural landscapes, ranked about characters behavior, combining movie elements with traces of their own cultural experiences. The relationship human-nature emerged subtly in the stories, interlaced to ethical, cultural and aesthetic aspects.
