MULTIPLE LESION PERCUTANEOUS TRANSLUMINAL CORONARY ANGIOPLASTY

Results of transluminal coronary angioplasty in 114 patients with multiple atherosclerotic coronary artery lesions are presented. Procedures performed on two or more aorto-coronary bypass grafts were also included into analysis. Some patients had left ventricular ejection fraction below 50)& Adequate vessel lumen restoration and improvement of blood flow to ischemic myocardium was achieved in 64.5% of cases. Complications and technical failure occurred In 35.5% of patients. Mortality was 3.9%. Urgent bypass surgery was performed in 2.7% of patients.
